Ryan G. Files

Ryan graduated cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law, and is a member of the Justinian Honorary Law Society.  During his time in law school, Ryan clerked for O’Hara, O’Connell & Ciotoli and became experienced in all areas of the firm’s practice.  Before working for the firm, he interned in the chambers of the Hon. Frederick J. Scullin Jr., Senior U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of New York. 
Ryan served as the Computer Editor on the Syracuse Law Review, and also participated in the College of Law’s Externship Program by interning with the General Counsel of SRC, Inc., a non-for-profit research and development corporation, where he drafted and reviewed various commercial and real estate agreements, provided legal recommendations pertaining to SRC’s business ventures, and gained experience in corporate law.  In addition, Ryan devoted his time to pro bono work and areas of public service by volunteering for LawHelpNY.org, and by partaking in the Landlord-Tenant Court Shadowing program through the Onondaga County Volunteer Lawyers Project.
Ryan graduated from Nazareth College where he received a B.A. in Communication & Rhetoric, and interned for the City of Rochester Communications Bureau.  He was actively involved in the Nazareth community by serving as an editor on the student-body newspaper, participating in the Nazareth Ultimate Frisbee Club, and running for the
Men’s Division III Track and Field team.  Prior to enrolling in law school, Ryan gained valuable experience in client interaction and problem analysis while working as a Customer Representative for Sutherland Global Services.
Ryan is a native of Syracuse and grew up in the Town of Onondaga Hill.  In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, running, and cheering on the Syracuse Orange.
